Introduction

As a kid, you may have participated in scavenger hunts during the summer. For this remote method, we will be recreating some of the fun and team-building aspects of the scavenger hunt in a completely online setting!

Necessary tools (what you need)

  • Pick a videoconferencing tool of your choice.

Steps

  1. In advance, prepare the list you want your students to find. A really easy version of this is using colors. Go find something blue, red, orange, etc.
  2. Explain the rules of the game: students should find any object of the specified color. The one who come back in front of the computer first, wins.
  3. So you cay: go find something purple! The student who comes back first is the winner and should say something about the object he/she had brought.

Tips & Tricks

  • Another option is a show and tell. Each student could share something they have at home that they love. This would be a great community-building and sharing!

The exercise is successfully completed when? Conclusion?
